Based in Worcestershire delivering an HR Consultancy service in Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern, Kidderminster and the West Midlands. Hill HR works with small and medium sized business as well as larger companies.
Hill HR Consultancy is owned and run by me, Claire Hill. My aim is to guide you through those time-consuming HR processes that can feel like a minefield, such as managing poor performance and sickness absence, discipline, grievance and managing business change.
My values are to deliver a high quality service to my clients, to create positive relationships with my clients and to always act with honesty and integrity towards my clients; those who have entrusted me with their HR.

About Me – Claire Hill
I became an HR professional because I am passionate about supporting business owners, directors and managers with their employment and people matters. As a previous HR Business Partner, I understand how to partner a business to ensure HR solutions support the business, the culture and obtain the required outcome.
Unlike ’employed’ HR experts, I run my own business, so I understand the day-to-day commercial challenges and operational demands that business owners face.
I am straight talking and offer business-focused, pragmatic advice and support. I love running my business and my commitment and passion is to create a solid HR platform for all my clients, so they can build and run the business that they love.
When I’m not working with my clients, I am a keen horse lover and spend time riding and competing. Having lived in Italy for many years, I also love going back there as often as I can.
Whether you are just starting out on the road to employing staff or you already employ staff and wish to invest in HR expertise, I will bring the energy and enthusiasm to drive your business that I have to drive mine.

Whether it is via email, on the phone or at your premises, I can be right there beside you or offer reassurance and advice from afar.
The benefits to your business is that is removes the worry and cost out of dealing with your HR issues, gives you peace of mind you are legally compliant minimising the risk of any potential claim and confidence that you have support when you need it.
Unlike large HR Consultancy companies, I do not sell you employment tribunal insurance. My advice is given to protect your business and resolve HR problems in the best way possible, not just in the interest of avoiding claims. This means you will not get general ‘helpline’ advice, but specific advice to suit your business. And I will not tie you in to a long contract.
It is important to me that I get to know my clients and understand their business and that they get to know, like and trust me. I will always visit your business and find out the issues that concern you and will build our relationship with you based on honest and frank conversations

The benefits of a retainer is that by regularly working together, I get to know you and your business. This is important to me to ensure my support meets the unique needs of your business.
For a fixed annual or monthly fee – with no tie-in, you will get peace of mind that you are in control of your people management and that your business is legally compliant.
Project or a specific piece of work on a fixed fee basis
You may need advice and support with writing contracts of employment, drafting a staff handbook or HR policies and procedures. Or you may have a particular project you need help with.
Where an accurate assessment can be scoped for a piece of work, we can work together for an agreed fixed fee.
As and when you need it/’pay as you go’ service – ‘On Demand’
HR support for those less regular issues as and when you need it. Instant, affordable access to HR help via phone, email or on-site. Ideal for businesses who do not need ongoing retainer support but still require expert guidance now and again.
I can also provide an additional pair of hands to compliment your existing team during periods of fluctuating demand.
